Popular RV Destination Campgrounds
Popular RV Destination Campgrounds
Destination campgrounds for recreational vehicles are those
campgrounds situated close to popular attractions. They offer plenty of
amenities in close proximity to vacation destinations such as Lake Tahoe and
Disney World, making it easy for RVers to stay put close to popular attractions
without having to stay in hotels. After researching and scouring reviews, we’ve
selected some of the best RV campgrounds near popular vacation spots,
eliminating any RV parks with ratings less than 3.7 on a 5-star scale across
multiple review platforms.
Disneyland, Anaheim, California
The most magical family vacation spot on the west coast is
Disneyland.
Anaheim RV Park, 200 West Midway Drive, Anaheim, CA
This park, located closest of all the RV parks to
Disneyland, is a hit with families because it offers lots of amenities,
including clean, bright showers, a swimming pool and easy self-check-in if you
arrive after the office is closed. Guests love the well-maintained dog park
area and attentive staff. Shuttle bus service to Disneyland and other
attractions mean no hassles for you.
Anaheim Harbour RV Park, 1009 South Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA
This park offers quality service, plenty of showers and
other amenities and easy access to the ART buses to Disneyland. Deluxe options
include spaces with grassy areas if you’re staying awhile and want a nice
picnic spot of your own. There can be lines in the mornings for the showers and
this park is on the smaller side, so book early.
OrangelandRV Park, 1600 West Struck Avenue, Orange, CA
Still close enough to Disneyland for even families with small
children, this park is on the smaller size but well-appointed. A shuttle bus
runs through the RV park, to Disneyland, and to local hotels every 20 minutes. Lot
sizes are variable, so do confirm the size of the lot is appropriate for your
vehicle.

border and is popular for everything from skiing in the winter to sandy beaches
in the summer months.

sized pads, paved roads and the usual amenities at a very reasonable price.

everyone here, including boating, skiing, off-roading, mountain biking and
white water rafting.

that are nestled into the surrounding forest mean you have both comfort and a
true wilderness experience. Hiking and biking trails and proximity to Whistler
are cited as best features.
Whistler RV Park and Campgrounds, 55 Highway 99, Whistler, BC
One of the very few RV parks located within less than 20
minutes of downtown Whistler. It features stunning views all around and many of
the spots have attractive landscaping. They all have picnic tables and access

these sites. Management consistently gets five stars for being friendly and
helpful.

is close enough and has clean, reliable amenities sometimes difficult to find
in wilderness areas. You do have to pay the entrance fee for the national park
in addition to the park fees, but you’ll be less than three miles from Sol Duc Falls
and surrounded by beauty.
Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

recreational park in the United States and home to everyone’s favorite
princesses.
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, 4510 North Fort Wilderness Trail, Lake Buena Vista, Orlando,
