Introducing: The Roadtrek Simplicity and Simplicity SRT
You feel the outdoors calling to you, but
maybe you have been worried about the costs of a new RV. It can seem like a lot
of money to spend in order to hit the open road. There are always used and
older models you could buy, but the peace of mind of a factory warranty and
modern amenities sounds very appealing. Until a few years ago, it would be
tough to figure out which direction to go.
Roadtrek has been known for their great class
B motorhomes for decades, but has recently taken a step to open up the market
for new RV owners. Hitting the market over the past couple of years are the Simplicity
and Simplicity SRT. These are built on the Ram ProMaster chassis and are
intended to be the best entry point for people buying their first new RV.
Like other class B RVs, the Simplicity and
Simplicity SRT have a smaller footprint than other classes and are easier to
drive and maneuver. They also have gas engines that provide plenty of power for
loading up with gear and towing without having to worry about finding a diesel
pump to refuel. Both models can sleep three on a rear queen size and front
single bed. The queen bed in the Simplicity is power foldable and converts to a
bench for additional seating during the day.
The Simplicity models bring many modern RV features
to a price point that was not available prior to their launch. Interior LED
lighting significantly reduces energy usage and is a major benefit for dry
camping. The expanded galley area provides plenty of space and modern
appliances so you can eat well. Your driving experience also gets all the
modern safety upgrades, including electronic assists to help when dealing with
high winds, towing, and even hill starts.
They also offer options to help increase your
comfort and convenience. You can have an outdoor shower added on to clean up
after a day at the beach or if your dog found something exciting to roll in out
in the woods that you’d prefer not to bring inside. There’s also an under hood
generator that will help you keep you comfortable in your air conditioning on
extended boondocking trips.
Starting under $90,000 for the Simplicity and Simplicity
SRT, there’s never been a more affordable way to get all the modern amenities
of a new RV. Johnson RV has the Roadtrek Simplicity to rent and for sale. If you’ve been waiting for the right opportunity to come along so
that you can start your new adventure, it’s just arrived.
